What is Plasma?

Plasma is a state of matter, often referred to as the fourth state, distinct from solid, liquid and gas. At the core of a plasma is an ionised gas – a unique combination of charged particles – which are created when a significant amount of energy is transferred into a gas and electrons separate from their atoms. This ionisation process occurs when a significant amount of energy is added to the gas, causing the atoms to lose or gain electrons.

What is CAP technology?

Cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) is a special type of plasma that operates at a significantly lower temperature than conventional plasmas. Unlike plasmas used in high temperature applications, CAP is at or near room temperature, making it suitable for a variety of biomedical and medical applications.

Why cold?

The defining characteristic of cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) is its low temperature. While conventional plasmas are generated at extremely high temperatures, often exceeding 100 000 degrees Celsius, CAP operates between 25°C and 45°C. This lower temperature range ensures that CAP can be safely used in a medical environment without causing damage to living tissue.

Unique cellular effect

When cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) interacts with body tissues and cells, it triggers biological responses that can have promising effects on health and well-being:

Reducing oxidative stress: CAP’s reactive mixture of electrons and ions actively neutralizes free radicals in the body. This significant reduction in oxidative stress can help mitigate cell damage and tissue damage, promoting better cellular health and reducing the risk of age-related diseases.

Cell regeneration and ATP production.

Immune system boost: CAP has been shown to boost the body’s immune system, helping it to defend against inflammation and disease.

Whole body management – “charging” the whole body

The Human Regenerator Jet’s unique design allows it to wrap the entire body in a gentle electrostatic field. This field effectively transmits anions, electrons and static energy simultaneously throughout the entire body, allowing for a comprehensive and holistic treatment of the body. The Human Regenerator Jet does not target a specific point on the skin like traditional CAP devices, but ensures that all cells and tissues benefit from CAP+, “charging” the entire body.

Body electricity and cell tension
The human body works like a complex electrical system, relying on electrical signals to keep cells and tissues functioning properly. The membranes of cells usually carry an electrical voltage of between 20 millivolts (mV) and 100 mV. The interior of the cell is predominantly charged with negative charges, while the cell’s surroundings contain positive charges. This charge difference creates the energy exchange and other essential processes in the cells.

Feeding the energy exchange of cells
The driving force for energy exchange and communication between cells is the cell voltage gradient. This voltage gradient allows ions and nutrients to move into and between cells via ion channels, which is vital for cellular metabolism, nutrient uptake and waste removal. By controlling the movement of charged particles, cells maintain their delicate electrical balance, allowing harmonious cellular functions.
Consequences of cell voltage imbalance
When cell voltage imbalance is disrupted, it can have significant consequences for cellular health and overall physical well-being. Low cellular tension (which can be caused by factors such as poor lifestyle, chronic stress or nutrient deficiencies) can impair cellular energy production and compromise cellular repair mechanisms.

Health implications of low cell voltage
Reduced cellular energy: Low cellular voltage inhibits the efficient production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is the energy source for cells. Lack of cellular energy can cause fatigue, sluggishness and reduced physical and mental performance.

Slow regeneration. Inadequate tension levels impede these repair processes, which can lead to accelerated ageing and damage to damaged tissue regeneration.

Immune system damage: cellular stress affects immune cell activity and function. When cellular tension is low, immune cells may not perform optimally, reducing the body’s defenses against infection and disease.

Mental and cognitive effects. Low cell voltage affects neural signalling, which may contribute to conditions such as depression, anxiety and memory problems.
